NSA North Sheep a great success!

Just a quick note to thank all those that visited our Border Leicester Stand today at NSA North Sheep Event. And a huge thank you to President Neil Howie for supplying such a tremendous selection of sheep for the stand. And to Neil's most able assistant Alex who was a real asset to the sales team!

The most admired sheep of the day (and said to be the best outfit at the whole event!) was a Texel X Border Gimmer with a pair of Border cross lambs. One gentleman visiting the stand said he could not find a better crossing sire than the Border x  Texel to put on his Blackface ewes.

Then there was a Halfbred (Border x Cheviot) hogg and a Suffolk x Halfbred hogg, which caught everyone's eye. Also on the stand was  Cheviot ewe with halfbred lambs and a Greyface ewe (Border x Blackface) with Suffolk lambs.

So many great stories about crossing the Border and many of the visitors to the stand said they had moved from the Blueface to the Border because of the frame and conformation of the Border Leicester and because it is built to last.

Its as simple as A,B,C:

Added value

Built to last

Crosses well with any breed.
