At the official sale of Welsh Halfbreds at Builth Wells on 10th September 2012, yearling ewes sold to a top of £150 twice. First in at this money was one of the judges, Paul Johnson, buying from Messrs R W & C S Richards, Park Farm, Craswall, Hereford on behalf of A T Turner, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. A pen of 4 show gimmers from Arthur George, Penybanc, Newchapel, Llanidloes also sold at £150 to J E Harvey, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.
Ewe Lambs topped at £105 for a pen of 20, again from Messrs Richards and selling to J E Harvey who also took two pens at £102 - a pen of 30 from Messrs Richards and one of 10 from Arthur George.
